Discover Polish folk culture on a day trip to Zakopane from Krakow!
You'll be picked up in Krakow before heading to Zakopane, in the heart of the Tatra Mountains. You'll make your first stop at a bacówka, a traditional shepherds' hut, where you'll sample the local oscypek cheese accompanied by regional* alcohol.
You'll continue on to Zakopane, a charming mountain town where tradition is still very much alive. You'll stroll along Krupówki Street, a historic center bustling with colorful stalls, folk musicians and local artisans.
You'll then take the funicular up to Mount Gubałówka, from where you'll enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Tatras. This will be a great time to take photos and admire the scenery.
Late afternoon, you'll head to the Chochołowskie thermal baths. You'll enjoy 2h30 of relaxation in naturally heated, open-air pools, with the mountains as a backdrop.
You'll be taken back to Krakow in the early evening.
