Description

Spend a day exploring the mountain city of Taïf and enjoy a breath of fresh air during your stay in Saudi Arabia!

Also known as Saudi Arabia's summer capital, Taïf is located on the eastern slopes of the Sarawat mountains at an altitude of around 1,700 m meaning it has a cooler temperate climate. Taïf is famous for its greenery and cooler temperatures (especially in summer) as well as the fragrant roses that grow in and around the town. 

You'll be picked up from your hotel in Jeddah in the early morning and head east towards Taïf. Enjoy the panoramic views of the Hatta mountains before stopping off at a rose perfume factory. You'll also stop at Al-Kaki Palace, before heading to Taïf Mountain, which overlooks the Hatta Mountains and Mecca. Your guide will show you several viewpoints of the city and its surroundings.

At lunchtime, you'll dig into a traditional meal in a restaurant. You'll be taken back to your Jeddah hotel at the end of the day.
