Leave Helsinki and set off to the medieval city of Tallinn, a classified UNESCO World Heritage Site!
Leaving from your Helsinki hotel you'll hop on a ferry and arrive in the Estonian capital in the late morning. Your guide will be waiting for you at the ferry exit. They will show you the city's most important sites and tell you all about Tallinn's history and culture. You'll be plunged into another era in a city famous for its beautifully-preserved 15th-century buildings.
You'll have the opportunity to visit monuments that show off Tallinn's medieval history, including the Kiek in de Kök tower, which was once part of Tallinn's city walls, and the Great Guilds. You'll also see Toompea Castle, which today houses the Estonian Parliament, the imposing Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, which overlooks Toompea Hill, and the Town Hall with its square.
At the end of your tour, you'll have some free time to explore Tallinn at your own pace. Pop into the town's souvenir shops, cafés and restaurants before returning to the ferry in the late afternoon. Once back in Helsinki, you'll be taken to your hotel.
