Discover Havana's fortresses by night and watch the famous cannon-firing ceremony accompanied by a professional guide.
After your pick-up from your hotel, you'll visit the El Morro fort in the Morro-Cabaña Military Park. The "cañonazo" ceremony has taken place every evening since colonial times and marks the closing of the city gates at night. The soldiers wear period uniforms during their march and are armed with a "silencio" or carry drums. You'll love this ceremony, from the loading of the gunpowder to the firing of the cannon at 9pm sharp.
You'll then be driven to San Carlos de la Cabaña fortress. You can then settle down to watch the canon-firing ceremony.
When the ceremony ends, you'll be driven back to your hotel.
