Avoid the crowds with a morning tour of Hanoi in the company of a local guide! 

You'll set off in the early morning to the Temple of Literature, a former university for members of the royal family. You'll then enjoy a cup of green tea in a typical Vietnamese teahouse.

Next, your guide will take you to the Hoa Lo prison museum, which the French colonists used to house political prisoners until 1954. You'll then visit Hanoi's largest and oldest church, St Joseph's Cathedral, built in 1886 and whose architecture is often compared to Notre-Dame in Paris. 

You'll plunge even deeper into the heart of Vietnam's capital with a trip to Hoan Kiem Lake, in the middle of which you'll find the Ngoc Son Temple and Huc Bridge.

You'll end your tour with a bowl of pho for lunch: this noodle soup comes from the Hanoi region and is a classic Vietnamese dish!
