Discover Stirling Castle, explore the national park, Loch Lomond, and visit a whisky distillery on a full day trip leaving from Glasgow!
Setting off from Glasgow, you will take your place aboard a luxury minivan in a small group. Firstly, you will visit Stirling Castle, famously previously occupied by King Stuart and the location of Mary Queen of Scots' coronation in 1543. One of Scotland's largest castles, erected on a hill and surrounded by three cliffs, it had quite a stategic positioning.
Then you will traverse the Trossachs forests and stop for a lunch break in the heart of this national park. You will then head to the famous Loch Lomond and do a stopover there, so you can freely stroll around and walk along the riverbanks of Scotland's largest lake, or visit the centre of the national park.
You will then head to Glengoyne to visit the distillery (ticket not included). You will learn all the secrets of the fabrication process of the famous malt whisky made here, before heading back to Glasgow at the end of the day.
