Discover the town of Fréjus’s origins during this guided tour where you will learn all about the city’s Roman history!

Originally named Forum Iulii by Julius Caesar, Fréjus is teaming with remains from its rich past!   

The Roman colony under Emperor Augustus developed due to its important port and the creation of several monumental buildings. Today it is one of the towns in France with the most Roman monuments.

For two hours, follow your guide who will tell you all about this time in the history of Fréjus and the sites belonging to it:

  • The theatre 
  • The fortifications
  • La Porte de Rome 
  • The aqueduct
  • The Porte des Gaules 
  • The Amphitheatre
  • The Roman port
