Discover the Dalmatian region with a guided tour of Korčula and a Croatian wine tasting on the Pelješac peninsula!
You'll enjoy a transfer from your accommodation in Dubrovnik. Your first stop will be the village of Ston, famous for its saltworks and its ramparts, which are the second longest in the world after the Chinese Wall.
You will then reach Orebić to take the ferry to the island of Korčula. Korčula is the sixth largest island in the Adriatic Sea, and its namesake town is fortified, as it too is surrounded by ramparts. Korčula is also, according to historians, the birthplace of Marco Polo, and your guide will tell you more about its history during the guided tour of the historic centre. You will then enjoy some free time in Korčula for lunch.
After your free time and a good lunch, you will take the ferry back to Orebić and head for the Pelješac peninsula. You will stop off at a wine cellar, learn about the wine-making process from the owners and taste Plavac Mali, a famous Croatian red wine.
You will be driven back to Dubrovnik after a day trip.
