Description

Enjoy an evening in Dubai's desert with a barbecue dinner, camel ride, and folk shows!

At the end of the day, you will be picked up at your hotel and taken into the desert. There, you can ride a camel and watch the sunset over the sand. Next, cross the sand dunes in a 4x4 (driven slowly and carefully) to your spot for the evening.

For this exceptional evening, visitors will be served a buffet comprised of all sorts of traditional dishes. A large barbecue is also available, and visitors can help themselves to grilled meat.

Numerous events take place during the evening: Belly dancing, Tanoura dancing, fireworks, etc. Workshops are also available, with henna tattoos, trying on traditional clothing, shisha, and more available.

At the end of the evening, you will be taken back to your hotel in Dubai.

Important information

  • Availability: every day except in exceptional circumstances
  • When booking, you'll be asked to select the date for your Burj Khalifa visit. You'll also need to select a timeslot. You'll receive the exact time of your visit and the official ticket after you book. The desert safari will take place the following day.
  • Information about the Burj Khalifa
  • Duration of your visit: variable (we advise allowing about 1 hour)
  • Times: visits are possible between 9:30 am and 3 pm and 7 pm and 10 pm (the 2-in-1 ticket does not allow you to visit between 3 pm and 6:30 pm). The exact time will be indicated on the official ticket that will be emailed to you
  • You'll need to show the official ticket that you receive by email to access the sites. You'll also need to show proof of ID. You won't be allowed in without these two documents
  • You'll need to report to the tower entrance during a specific timeslot (you'll be given a 30-minute window). This way, you avoid the crowds on the 124th floor and don't have to queue for hours to book a ticket. However, you'll have to queue to get into the lift (expect to wait between 0 and 40 minutes under normal circumstances/expect a wait of up to 1.5 hours if extremely busy, particularly during the festive season). Please respect your allocated timeslot. Anyone who is late will be refused entry (even if you're just one minute late)
  • You'll be allowed to stay as long as you wish at the top of the building
  • We recommend wearing light shoes and clothes that cover your shoulders and knees
  • Visit times are entirely at the discretion of the Burj Khalifa staff. Due to high demand, we advise booking your tickets as quickly as possible to ensure you get your preferred tour time (first bookings are given priority)
  • Please note that official tickets cannot be sent more than 3 weeks in advance
  • If you book this activity more than 3 weeks in advance, you will receive your official tickets by email approximately 2-3 weeks before your visit
  • If you book your tickets less than 3 weeks in advance, you will receive your official tickets within 72 hours, but we cannot guarantee availability
  • Desert safari information
  • Departure time and location: Pick-up from your hotel in Dubai between 3:30pm and 4pm; exact time will be confirmed after booking
  • Duration: You'll be driven back to your hotel at the end of the evening
  • The driver of the 4x4 will adapt their driving in the desert to the passengers' demands (speed, acceleration, etc.). If you don't want to do the 4x4 ride, please tell your driver and they will take you directly to the camp.
  • This tour is not suitable for children under 5. We advise wearing light footwear and clothing covering shoulders and knees and bringing sunglasses and sunscreen
  • There will be no belly dancing during the month of Ramadan. This performance is no longer included throughout the duration of the pandemic.
  • During the summer months (June-September), temperatures can reach 42 to 45 degrees. Humidity levels can also exceed 90% during this period. We recommend that all travellers take adequate precautions, especially on excursions and nights in the desert
  • The activities available at the camp are offered on a first come, first served basis. Sandboarding takes place outside the main entrance to the camp. The camel ride lasts between 2 and 5 minutes

Please note: The Burj Khalifa ticket is non-cancellable and non-refundable.
