Explore the city of Chiang Mai and the Mae Ping River!
Your guide will pick you up from the People Place Hotel. The first visit of the day takes you to Warorot Market, one of the biggest, oldest and most popular markets in Chiang Mai. The market bustles with fruit and vegetable stalls, but also artisans selling local handicrafts.
The next stop will be the magnificent Wat Chai Mongkol temple, close to the Mae Ping river. Immerse yourself in Buddhist culture with monks who will teach you about the rituals of this religion.
You will then climb aboard a boat and follow your guide down the Mae Ping River for a cruise that's far from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, passing coastal towns and taking in Chiang Mai's most beautiful landscapes.
Your tour will then take you to a local farm where you will enjoy Khao Soi (a dish made of noodles, meat and vegetables). After experiencing local hospitality during the lunch break, you will visit a garden to find out all the secrets of medicinal plants and local vegetables.
Your tour will end with a visit to the Ton Lam Yai flower market.
At the end of this day packed with culture, you'll be accompanied back to your hotel.
