Description

Discover Isla Contoy and Isla Mujeres on an excursion with an expert guide.

An early-morning transfer will take you directly from your hotel to Flamingos port, near Cancún, where breakfast will be served. Around 9 am, you'll hop aboard a boat to these two idyllic protected islands

First stop: Isla Contoy, the last virgin island in the Mexican Caribbean. Head to the reef where you'll enjoy a snorkelling session to see the marine life. You will then stop off again at the Contoy Nature Reserve, where you can admire a vast array of bird species. Take advantage of this stop to go snorkelling and explore the crystal-clear waters.

Dig into lunch at Isla Contoy - fish or chicken and salads (soft drinks included). 

Next, take the boat back to Isla Mujeres and enjoy some free time to explore the island or simply relax.

At the end of the day, make your way back to the port by boat, and from there the bus will take you back to your hotel. 

Options

When booking, you'll need to select a pick-up zone corresponding to your accommodation location:

- Transfer from Playa del Carmen area (from Moon Palace in the north to Akumal in the South)

OR

- Transfer from Cancún area (centre and beach/hotel area) and Tulum area (Beach + pueblo)

Good to know

  • Availability: every day except Thursdays (and excluding exceptional circumstances)
  • Depart from: your hotel on the Riviera Maya (from Cancún to Tulum)
  • Pick-up is between 6 am and 9 am. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed after booking
  • This activity is not recommended for children under 4 years old
  • This activity is not recommended for people with limited mobility; heart, respiratory, or back problems; or hydrophobia. It is also not recommended for pregnant women or people who cannot swim. People under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to participate
  • The activity can accommodate groups of 10 people max
  • Snorkeling is subject to weather conditions
  • Your activity may be cancelled in the event of poor weather conditions. If this is the case, you will be offered an alternative date or a refund
