Discover Cairo's little-known gems on a cultural excursion including lunch and transfers!

You'll be picked up at your Cairo hotel by your Egyptologist guide. You'll start your tour at the Palace of Prince Mohamed Ali, also known as the "Golden Palace". This 19th-century palace is famous for its richly decorated rooms, marble columns, works of art and tranquil gardens. It illustrates a blend of Ottoman and European architectural influences.

You'll continue to the Ibn Touloun Mosque, a masterpiece of Islamic architecture founded in the 9th century. You'll explore its vast inner courtyard and elegant arches, and have the opportunity to climb its spiral minaret to admire a breathtaking view of the city.

The tour will continue to the Gayer-Anderson Museum, housed in two traditional 17th-century houses. Here you'll discover collections of antique furniture, works of art and historical objects assembled by a British officer in the 1930s. Each piece reflects a piece of Cairo's history.
