Description

After a short journey of 1 hour, you will arrive in Antwerp and begin your tour with the Old Fortress and the Great Square.

Here you will have the opportunity to admire the traditional architecture of the manors lining the square, as well as the town hall and the Cathedral of Notre Dame, whose Belfry is classed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (admission included in the tour). The Cathedral is home to four 17th-century paintings by Rubens, including the Assumption of the Virgin and the Resurrection of Christ.

Your walking tour will then lead you to the Saint Charles Borromeo Church, the interior of which was designed by Rubens himself.

After your visit to the church, you'll have some free time to explore the city center and have lunch.

In the afternoon, you will return to the coach and make your way towards the port and the new MAS Museum, which focuses on the history of the city. Ascend to the 9th floor of the building for an exceptional panoramic view over the port of Antwerp, the second biggest port in Europe.

As Antwerp is also the center of the world's diamond industry, no trip would be complete without seeing the Diamond Pavilion, which you will pass by before returning to Brussels.
