Description
Discover Bruges, its monuments and museums on a private tour accompanied by a professional guide.
You will meet your guide in the central Bruges, where you will start your day with a tour of the Groeninge Museum. Admire the Belgian works of art dating from the 15th century to the present day, from Van Eyck and Memling to Brueghel and Magritte.
Your guide will then lead you to the Dijver Canal and the College of Europe, wher diplomats from all over Europe come to hold seminars on the organization and the evolution of the European Union.
Stop for lunch at a local restuarant and enjoy a traditional three-course meal while resting your legs.
The tour then continues at the Hôtel de Ville where your guide will tell you all about history of the prestigious gothic hall.
As your day draws to an end, you will travel across the city to see the Belfry with its 47 bells that can be heard chiming throughout the city before returning to the Memling Museum in Saint Jan's Hospital.
The tours finishes with a 30-minute cruise on the canals of Minnewater Park, an experience that illustrates why Bruges has come to be known as the 'Venice of the North'!
