Spend a day discovering the best of Beijing by bus.
A minibus will pick you up from your hotel and take you to explore the capital's greatest monuments.
Start your day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, where stands a monument to Mao Zedong. This square is the symbol of the influence of communism and this renowned leader on the history of modern China.
Jump back on the bus to travel to the Forbidden City. Enjoy a 2-hour walking tour of this perfectly preserved imperial palace complex which dates back over 500 years.
After visiting a traditional Chinese medicine shop, you will be led on an hour-long tour of the Temple of Heaven, the sacred place used by Chinese emperors to pray.
After a break, you'll be taken to a local restaurant for lunch.
In the early afternoon, you will visit a pearl market before arriving at the Summer Palace. Enjoy a stroll through the grandest, most magnificent palace gardens in China, before returning to your hotel in the afternoon.
