Description

Built between 1904 and 1906, Casa Batllo is one of the most renowned Modernist constructions in Catalonia. Created by Antoni Gaudi, Casa Batllo is packed with curious features and Art Nouveau-style details. Of particular interest are its walls made of colored ceramic mosaics, a technique championed by Gaudi called trencadis.
