Description

Go up to the summit of the Montjuic by cable car and enjoy panoramic views of Barcelona!

You'll set off to admire Barcelona from the heights of Montjuic Hill.

You'll board the cable car, in a cabin that can accommodate up to 8 people, and begin your ascent to the top of Montjuic Hill.

Once at the top, you'll be able to enjoy a panoramic view of Barcelona and the sea - one of the best views in the city! You'll enjoy views of the Sagrada Familia, Camp Nou and the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc.

You'll be free to wander around Montjuïc as you please. You can admire the Miró Foundation and the Olympic Stadium. If you wish, you can also visit Montjuic Castle (at an additional cost).

Enjoy breathtaking views from Montjuic hill and experience the feeling of having Barcelona at your feet!

Important information

  • Availability: every day from February to December (except in exceptional cases)
  • Starting point: Parc de Montjuic
  • Schedules: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. all year round, closes at 6:30 p.m. in October and between March and May, closes at 7 p.m. in summer (we recommend you check opening conditions before coming)
  • On December 25 and January 1 and 6, the service will operate from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • You are asked to indicate a tentative date for your ticket, but please be aware that you will in fact be able to use it on the date most convenient to you within 3 months of the tentative date indicated
  • The cable car is accessible to people with reduced mobility
  • The estimated travel time by cable car from Montjuic Park to the top of the hill is around 10 minutes

  • You can stay as long as you like on the heights of Montjuic, within the cable car's opening hours
