Discover the must-sees of Provence on a small-group day trip departing from Avignon in a small group!
After meeting your guide in Avignon in the early morning, you'll set off in a minivan for a day exploring the region's iconic landscapes and villages.
You'll start your excursion with a visit to Roussillon, a typical village known for its ochre cliffs in red and yellow hues. You'll stroll through its narrow streets and discover its characteristic natural landscapes. On Thursdays, you'll also have the opportunity to enjoy the open-air Provencal market.
You'll continue with a photo stop opposite the village of Gordes, perched on the heights of the Luberon and ranked among France's most beautiful villages. You'll enjoy a panoramic viewpoint to admire this iconic village.
Late morning, you'll have free time in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse for lunch (not included). Enjoy a stroll to the source of the Sorgue, a unique natural site.
In the afternoon, you'll head to the Pont du Gard, a 1st-century Roman aqueduct listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll have time to explore the site (admission included, excluding museum).
You'll then continue to Les Baux-de-Provence, a medieval village perched on a rocky spur. You'll enjoy free time to wander its narrow streets and discover its ancient houses, as well as the Saint-Vincent church.
On the way back, you'll make a stop in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence where you'll enjoy a short stroll through the town center.
At the end of the day, you'll be driven back to Avignon after a day rich in discoveries.
