Enjoy a relaxing and fascinating day in one of New Zealand's most beautiful regions! The schedule for the excursion is as follows:

  1. Guided excursion to Rotorua and tour of Waitomo caves

After leaving your hotel, we will journey through stunning landscapes. During the journey we will pass through the following places:

  • Waikato: New Zealand's largest dairy region
  • Waitomo Caves: superb limestone and sparkling caves – guided tour will be provided
  • Rotorua: New Zealand's highest city, located inside a volcanic crater
  • Te Puia Maori Centre: Enjoy a cultural performance, watch Maori traditions and dances (including the famous Haka!)
  • Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve: Rotorua's famous thermal pools - see numerous geysers

Lunch - Picnic will be served between Waitomo and Rotorua

Get ready for complete relaxation! Considered one of the top 10 spas in the world, Rotorua's Polynesian Spa lets you relax in unique surroundings.  Thermal pools, waterfalls and superb views across the lake, the spa offers a moment of pure relaxation that is not to be missed!

You will be returned to your hotel in Auckland at the end of an unforgettable trip.

Good to know

  • Availability : every day (except in exceptional circumstances)
  • Duration: Approximately 13 hours
  • Departure time: 7:30am (pick up from your hotel between 6:35am and 7:10am)
  • To take part in this activity simply present your booking voucher to the local tour operator
  • Return to Auckland around 8:00pm
  • Bring swimwear to enjoy the spa
  • Towels are provided during the spa visit. Robes are also available (NZD 5 which is approximately US $4)
  • Entry to the Polynesian Spa is free for children under 5. However, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
