Admire the highlights of Athens by bus! Thanks to your unlimited 48h Bus Pass, you can hop on and off the bus as you please to visit Athens at your own pace!
Sitting in an open-top double-decker bus, you can admire the most famous sites and monuments of the Greek Capital, the cradle of democracy.

The Athens downtown lineoffers year-round 16 stops providing access to all the must-see sites in the city's historic center, such as the Syntagma Square, the Acropolis Museum, the Acropolis and the Parthenon, the Plaka district, theTemple of Zeus, the National Gardens and Parliament, the Panathenaic Stadium, the National Library...

From April to December, you can also choose to combine this 48h pass with one of the other two lines, or even all three with a 3-day pass if the length of your stay in Athens allows (see options) :

-The "Piraeus" line offers 9 stops to discover the ancient port district of Piraeus, the second largest passenger port in the world, and see another side of life in Athens. Among the proposed stops: The Piraeus Archaeological Museum, the Votsalakia beach, or the Niarchos Foundation.

- The Beaches & Riviera line takes you along the coastal route of the Saronic Gulf, and you can take it to one of the three beaches of Agios Kosmas, Glyfada or Asteria, or to Lake Vouliagmeni, a warm saltwater lagoon whose waters are renowned for their therapeutic properties. This line also serves certain hotels on the Athenian Riviera.

On board all buses on each of the three routes, you'll enjoy commentary from the included audio guide, available in 13 languages.

Good to know

  • Availability: The Athens city center line operates every day, all year round except November 17. The Piraeus and Riviera lines operate only in summer (April 1 to December 31)
  • Hours for the main Athens downtown line: 8:30am to 6:30pm with a bus every 15 minutes; The full itinerary, without getting off the bus, takes around 90 minutes
  • Hours for the Beaches / Riviera line (April - December): 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with one bus per hour; The complete itinerary, without getting off the bus, takes about 110 minutes
  • Piraeus line timetable (April - December): 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with one bus per hour; The entire itinerary, without getting off the bus, takes around 80 minutes
