Explore the most famous sites in Greece, also listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites!
1st day: You will leave Athens to the Corinth Canal and continue to Epidaurus and visit the ancient theatre.
Then set off to Nafplio where you will have free time to discover the city. You can wander around the old town or visit an art gallery.
2nd day: Leave at 12:30pm and cross the Argos plain to reach Mycenae.
There, you will see the archaeological site, which includes the tomb of Agamemnon. Your tour will continue to Tripoli and Megalopolis (short break).
You will spend the night in Olympia.
3rd day: After breakfast, you will explore the archaeological site of Olympia, which includes Hera's Temple, the Altar of the Olympic flame, the stadium,etc.
Leave the Peloponnese region via the remarkable bridge from Rion to Antirion. See Nafpaktos before driving along the coast to Delphi.
In the afternoon, you will reach the mountains to see the quaint village of Arachova, where you will be accommodated for a night.
4th day: Head to Delphi to see its large archaeological site and museum.
You will then continue through Central Greece and enjoy a stop in Lamia. You will then arrive to Kalambaka for a night at the foot of the Meteora.
5th day: Explore the impressive Meteora, which features Byzantine monasteries built upon rocky pinnacles.
Arrive back in Athens after a stop in Thermopylae to see the statue of King Leonidas of Sparta.
