Description

Enjoy a zodiac cruise off Sesimbra and learn more about the marine fauna and biodiversity of the Professor Luiz Saldanha Marine Park!

Leaving from Lisbon or Setúbal, you'll enjoy a transfer to the small town of Sesimbra, an old fishing village located in the Setúbal district. Today, Sesimbra is a seaside resort popular with the Portuguese for its idyllic beaches and its proximity to the Arrábida nature park.

On arrival, you'll enjoy an hour's free time to stroll around Sesimbra's fishing port, and explore its coastline. 

You will then board a zodiac boat for a cruise around the Professor Luiz Saldanha marine park. Your guide will tell you more about the biodiversity of this site, one of the most important in Europe. During your cruise, you'll admire the beautiful landscape of cliffs, natural caves, remote beaches, old fishermen's huts, the forest of the Arrábida Natural Park...

At the end of your cruise, you'll reach Sesimbra, where you'll have some free time before being driven back to Lisbon or Setúbal.

  • Pick-up time and place: 8.30am pr 1.30pm departure from Lisbon or Setúbal - more information in your voucher
  • Time and place of cruise: 10.30am or 3pm at Sesimbra
  • Duration of activity: 2h
  • Lisbon is 24 miles and Setúbal 19 miles from the town of Sesimbra
  • Transfers are shared and are by minivan (Mercedes Vito) or 4x4
  • For logistical reasons, you will arrive 1 hour before the cruise and leave between 1.5 and 2 hours after the end of the cruise. During your free time in Sesimbra, we suggest you explore the fishing port
  • This is a shared activity
