Set off in a minibus to the village of Manosque, where you are invited on a guided tour of the Occitane factory, the region's world-famous cosmetic brand.
On the road again, you'll see the dramatic lavender fields at Valensole on your way to Moustiers-Saint-Marie, a cliffside village famous for its pottery production. Here you'll have some free time to visit the village and go for lunch.
You will then head to the Verdon Gorge, a canyon that offers breathtaking views over the Sainte Croix lake and the Verdon River. You'll have time to relax on the beach of the lake before heading back to Aix en Provence at the end of the day.
On your way back you will pass by the village of Saint-Croix du Verdon, built just above the Sainte-Croix lake.
