Discover Adelaide and the picturesque Adelaide Hills region on a full-day guided tour from the city center!
Your day will begin with a pick-up from your hotel or a central meeting point, followed by a comfortable coach ride to explore the iconic sights of Adelaide. Your local guide will introduce you to the charms of this elegant city, bordered by parks, with its wide streets, historic buildings, and vibrant cultural neighborhoods.
You will pass by the cultural boulevard of North Terrace, the Adelaide Botanic Garden, Botanic Park, the State Library, the South Australian Museum, and the University of Adelaide. Continuing on, you will drive through the historic residential area of North Adelaide, known for its tree-lined streets and Victorian mansions.
A photo stop will be made at St Peters Cathedral (subject to availability) or near the newly developed Adelaide Oval precinct. You will also make a stop at the National Wine Centre of Australia, located on the edge of the Botanic Gardens, where you can freely explore the wine museum "Wine Discovery Journey."
After a free lunch break in the city center, you will head towards Mount Lofty, the highest point in the region.
The afternoon will continue with a scenic drive through the typical villages of Crafers, Stirling, Aldgate, and Bridgewater, where you will see the Bridgewater Mill waterwheel. You will then stop at the Beerenberg Farm Shop, where you can purchase local products.
Finally, you will reach Hahndorf, Australia's oldest German settlement. Here, you will have free time to wander down the main street, discover local crafts, and enjoy traditional tea or beer at the popular Hahndorf Inn.
