Description
Take advanatge of your stay in Accra to learn about Ghana's slave history with an expert guide.
The tour will begin with a visit to Ussher Fort, built by the Dutch in the 17th century, and James Fort, erected by the English a few years later.
A guide will tell you about the history and legends of the era and make sure you don't miss a single detail of the historic structures. Together, you'll discover the site's dungeons and cells, as well as various other objects dating back to the slave trade.
The tour will continue with a walk on the same beach that saw the transit of thousands of slaves en route to the Americas, followed by a tour of Brazil House, the city's slave museum. Here you will learn all about the incredible story of former Afro-Brazilian slaves who returned to Ghana after gaining their freedom.
At the end of the activity, your guide will accompany you back to Palladium Hall.

Between 7 and 4 days prior: 50% of the price
After this time and in case of a no-show: 100% of the price
Any reservation made for special dates cannot be cancelled, modified or refunded.
